I run foodstories.nz and focus on detailed, styled food and wine shots. I run my business from sunny Central Otago and I absolutely love it. Not only because I am surrounded by premium wine producers, but also - mountains, lakes and never-ending adventures.

Skiing one day and tasting full range of different wines another is an absolute dream.

I am originally from Latvia and 2.5 years ago I was still in Europe, didn't even own a camera or knew what to do with it. I guess moving to New Zealand has quite literally changed by life in all aspects.

... and I couldn't do it without the NZ photography community. It has been a blessing to connect with likeminded people who are so keen to help. Especially when I just started out.

Now 2.5 years later this is my home, my business and I can't wait to create more images for local producers.
